VIVITÉ® System

VIVITÉ^® is a new advanced skin care routine developed by ALLERGAN. This new skin care line contains GLX technology, an ultra-charged formula matrix that helps infuse the skin with a glycolic compound and antioxidants to help optimize skin rejuvenation. The VIVITÉ^® line extends the Allergan promise of scientifically formulated and clinically shown products that help promote beautiful, healthy skin.

Science: GLX Technology™

Only VIVITÉ^® has GLX Technology^TM, an ultra-charged formula matrix that helps infuse the skin with a glycolic compound and antioxidants to help optimize skin rejuvenation. This fusion of a glycolic compound with natural antioxidants helps promote the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and epidermal growth factor, all of which are essential to the integrity and health of skin.

The glycolic compound in GLX Technology^TM is the most effective exfoliant available. In fact, glycolics have the smallest molecules of all the alpha hydroxy acids. It’s their small molecule size that enables greater skin penetration. In addition, a process called partial neutralization allows for a high delivery of glycolic compound to the skin with minimal skin irritation. Partial neutralization also extends the duration of action of the compound in the skin, so that skin receives a secondary glycolic effect.

The antioxidants in GLX Technology^TM help protect skin from the harmful effects of environmental stress factors known as free radicals, which can attack and prematurely age skin.

What products are in the VIVITÉ^® System? 

The VIVITÉ^® System consists of 4 products that serve as the foundation for any advanced skin care regimen:

• VIVITÉ^® Exfoliating Facial Cleanser helps loosen the unproductive top layer of skin so you can scrub it away and reveal fresh, new skin. Contains 15% glycolic compound.
• VIVITÉ^® Daily Antioxidant Facial Serum provides antioxidant protection to help fight the signs of premature aging and delivers a regular application of glycolics to help hydration and renovation of the top layer of skin. Contains 15% glycolic compound.
• VIVITÉ^® Night Renewal Facial Cream is an extra-rich formulation that helps promote overnight maintenance and aids in the repair of the skin. Contains 20% glycolic compound.
• VIVITÉ^® Revitalizing Eye Cream is specially formulated to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the sensitive areas around the eye, as well as help minimize the appearance of dark circles. Contains 10% glycolic compound.

Note: Products can also be used individually. Use an SPF 15 or greater sunscreen to prevent an increase in sun sensitivity.
